Boulder real estate
If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a shopper, a biker, hiker, a friendly neighbor, or just like the idea of being near the mountains, Boulder Colorado is a place for you. With a population of just over 100,000, University of Colorado at Boulder, and dozens of major employers, Boulder CO is always buzzing with interesting activities. From Spring to Fall, be sure to visit Pearl Street mall where the friendly merchants can help you find whatever you’ve been looking for, and the street entertainers are wonderful. Seeing Zip Code Man’s act is worth the trip alone.
Boulder CO Summer Activities: If you have enough time while you’re in town be sure to visit Chautauqua Park, and take a hike below Boulder’s signature rock formation – “The Flatirons“. Other great hikes within minutes of town include Mt Sanitas, and Boulder Falls. Other Summer activities include the Boulder Creek Festival every Memorial day, the Boulder kinetics race, Hometown Fair, BoulderFest, Bolder Boulder, Farmer’s Market every Weekend, and Buffalo Bill Days just to name a few.
Boulder, Colorado Winter Activities: Many people think of Colorado as being covered with snow all winter long, but our little secret is that we’re not actually in the mountains. It’s not uncommon to see running paths filled with shorts-wearing runners & bikers in the middle of January or February. Although Boulder isn’t actually in the mountains, we’re right at the foothills, so you’re never far from what the mountains have to offer. If you’re a skier, Eldora Ski resort is only about a 30 minute drive away. Many a Boulderite have been known to take an early day from work, and sneak up to Eldora for an afternoon slide down the slopes (Especially if they live in Nederland.)
